How to fix Windows 10 after Sept KB4515384 update

"If after installing the September 2019 update the Start menu and search aren't working, you can try this workaround to mitigate the problem until it's fixed."

Basically, instructions on how to uninstall this update are given. Applies if you are having problems with the Start Menu or Search since yesterday's updates.

@joe53  - So it really does pay to hold off on these updates for a while...

My Win 10 lappy hasn't been updated this month. So aside from holding off longer, is there any way to know if a system will have these problems with that KB before installing it? Or just a roll of the dice...?

No way that I know of.

Part of the problem is that this update glitch (like most update glitches) doesn't affect every user.
