My Way Search Assistant

Question

Is 'My Way Search Assistant' spyware that I should remove from my computer?  If so, can I just go to the Control Panel and rmove it through Add/Remove Programs?  Will it cause any harm to remove it?             I have recently reformatted my hard drives (with Dell Tech Support) because I had gotten so much junk and don't want this to happen again.                 Thanks!

Well, it was not hidden and I did remove it and reboot, but, upon checking again, it did NOT remove it and now when I try to do so, the remove button is missing!

Dell installs that garbage at the factory. :(   go to add & remove programs to uninstall it....however the remove button may be hidden.   http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/thread18008.html

Thanks.  When I went to the site to do that, it looks like I could go amiss if I make a mistake.  What is the downside of keeping 'My Way?'

To remove My Way Search Assistant from 'Add/Remove Program' Start => Run => msiexec.exe /x{78d944d7-a97b-4004-ab0a-b5ad06839940} => click 'OK'
