I've tried the KeyScrambler 3.x series of updates a few times (I'd say about 3 different builds) on my older ("test") XP system, and found that each time, the cursor would "spontaneously" jump around within my post... so if I wasn't continually keeping an eye on it, I would wind up with a garbled mess :-( Since this was not acceptable (nor even tolerable), I reverted back to version 2.9.3. In so doing, I've lost usage of KeyScrambler in FF [which now requires the 3.x series for "compatibility"], but it works just fine for me in IE.
I don't believe I ever tested things on my newer Win7 system.
It appears that KeyScrambler does have some kind of flaw that cause this intermittent problem. Just awhile ago I was typing and different characters start coming up and/or the cursor wouldn't move. At the same time, the display turned orange and the message "Keys from unencrypted source" appeared. Fooling around with it for a bit made the problem go away. Researching it a bit further indicates that others have had the problem. I will try a hard delete followed by a download/reinstall to see if that will fix it.
The reinstall do not fix the problem. It still appears from time to time while I am typing in a forum. It has not happened here on the Dell Forum yet. As soon as I turn it off the text typed goes back to normal. I contacted QFX software about it and have not heard back yet. So for now will simply use KeySrambler on those applications where I need the security, like when visiting my banking site.
