Silverlight dumped in Microsoft Edge (along with ActiveX & VBScript)

Microsoft has decided that Silverlight has no place in its upcoming Win10 Edge browser, throwing it out along with ActiveX, BHOs, VBScript, VML and several other legacy Internet Explorer-specific technologies.  The reasons for this include the emergence of viable and secure media solutions based on HTML5 extensions.
