Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6

Please note that Java SE 6 does not provide support for the older Windows operating systems, Windows 95, Windows 98, nor Windows ME.  

 

People still using these have no choice but to continue using Java2 SE Runtime Environment 5.
