Very slow computer - please help - HJT log file

I have something on this computer, slows it down seriously and also can't access any websites other than www.bestwebslinks.com, completely taken over the internet explorer, will not allow any other web site to come up. I have run clean it and virus software but not finding any viruses.  I also have an alert on my tool bar that says I have a virus (triangle with exclamation point).

Hi Melissa...

This a different computer than the one you and I worked on last time is it not? The reason I am asking is that this PC is waaaay behind on Windows Updates so before we can do anything the computer has to be updated to at least WinXP SP1a.

Thanks,

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. You are quite behind on your Windows Updates and Patches!!

The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
Click here to get WinXP SP1a: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&DisplayLang=en

Apply the update, reboot, then go to Windows Update and install all the Critical Updates (Note: Except for WinXP SP2. You can upgrade to SP2 after you are clean)
Click here for Windows Update: http://www.windowsupdate.com/

After installing all the Patches and updates, reboot, then post a fresh Hijack This log.

It has been 7 days since I last heard from you. I will be monitoring this thread for another 7 days. If unanswered at the end of those 7 days I will be considering this topic closed and will not be monitoring it for replies.

Thank You,

I am having a problem updating the computer, still trying to get ahold of dude that upgraded my computer to XP.  May have to reformat and go back to previous version of windows if I can not get ahold of him.  The windows updater is telling me that the key is not correct.  I will try to get it done within the next 7 days but if not I will just start over with a new thread when I get the problem resolved.  Thanks for your help so far.
