Viris/computer help

My viris scan says that i have a viris in a quarantine folder. It says 'clean failed' under the status part of my viris alert message. So, how do I delete a viris that is in the quarantine folder? If it helps to know, the viris is a trojan with the name classload.jar-(the rest is cut off)

I don't know if this is related to the viris or not but my monitor shuts off sometimes and that is a problem because my computer is a laptop and I can't turn it back on without rebooting it (the bad way) I know the computer is still on because there are some lights that are on which turn off when the computer is not on. Does this sound like a viris or is something wrong with my system?

Lisa,

Your anti-virus program should give you the option to delete that file from quarantine. If it's in use, try booting up into "Safe Mode", before running the scan.

AdAware and Spybot, as Jamez mentioned, are a good first line, but i'd also recommend posting up a HiJackThis log for review. Most of the time, this stuff never 'sits' alone!

Mike.
