gs_agent script error and blue screen problem

Help....I'm not sure what to do, but it seems like whenever my kids get on my laptop, I've got problems, and I don't know how to fix them.....I've done some investigating online and have run a hijack this and gotten a log, but have no clue as to what to do with it.  hopefully someone on here can help me. 

I do keep getting a "script error message" every time I start my laptop about gs_agent not loading

I can't seem to do much of anything on my computer unless I'm in safe mode

both IE and Firefox will go to odd pages when I search or click on links for things.

I had Avast virus on my computer, and just yesterday switched to AVG thinking avast had missed something, but AVG doesn't seem to find anything either.  I'm not sure what to do at this point.
