Dell OS Recovery

Hi,

I was trying to download recovery drive from dell OS recovery tool, i downloaded using support assistant and the download was completed, next step was put an USB to make a bootable drive, i think i have downloaded recovery software so i can make bootable drive again some time, but next time i open DELL OS Recovery tool put my Service tag no and click on Support Assist OS Recovery, its start downloading step 1/7 complete, then step 2/7 its showing error

"Unable to locate file to download.Please contact tech support for additional assistance"

Its Still Showing Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Download Size 5.55 GB , But its manual process to install windows, is it a Pre-Activated Version or i have to activate it manually

If your laptop came originally with Windows 10, there is no reason to use Dell's Windows OS recovery.

The Windows 10 key is embedded in your laptop's motherboard. Windows will automatically update.
