Dell Vostro 7590
I recently got this Vostro 7590 (4 days ago) and I have been having some audio issues.
First, I've had crackling sounds when using earphones. I tried removing Realtek Audio Manager and then reinstalling it through Dell's website. Since then the laptop won't recognize my earphones and keep playing sound through the speakers even when earphones are connected.
I've tried with different headphones but same problem.
Didn't try bluetooth because I don't have any bluetooth sound device.

Hi IDontKnowYou,
You can update the system BIOS along with chipset drivers.
BIOS:https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=8gn94
All the drivers: https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/vostro-15-7590-laptop/drivers
Boot in Safe mode and check if the Audio file works.
Steps to login in safe mode are mentioned in the link https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sln306359/how-to-boot-to-safe-mode-in-windows-10?lang=en.

The BIOS is updated (latest version 1.3), just as the drivers. I tried booting in safe mode. It says that there is no output audio peripheral installed (or something like this, my computer is not in english).
Also when rebooting my laptop, the earphones work is I plug them before playing any sound. If I take them out, keep playing music through the speakers and then try pluging them in again it just won't work.

You can run hardware diagnostic and check if the earphone work during the test
To run diagnostics, restart the computer, as the computer boots, start tapping < F12 > When the Boot menu appears, highlight the Diagnostics option and then press < Enter > to start the Diagnostics. If you get any error code and validation code, share a picture of the same screen.

Check the errors you got, you can find the errors inside the diagnostics screen itself.

The error was due to me not using the charger it seems. I redid the performance check and is says "All tests passed. Validation Code : 116221.

My speakers had stopped working, bluetooth speakers were not connecting to the laptop, headphone jack also stopped working and i used to get a crazy message like "no audio device found or no sound device detected". I spent few hours on uninstalled and reinstalling various drivers as advised by forums and Dell (including bios driver) I but nothing worked. Finally i decided to refresh or reinstall Windows OS
1) I took backup of my data ,
2) created a usb window installer and
3) reinstalled widows OS
4) reinstalled Dell drivers
and speakers as well as audio started working! Sometimes when Windows drivers get corrupted and uninstall and reinstall does not work reinstalling windows is best solution. I was pretty sure my laptop did not have physical damage so there would be no issue with my laptop speakers.
After reinstalling windows you can go to Dell product support, enter your service tag and reinstall all Dell drivers.
Good luck
Regards
A
