My Dell Vostro Laptop Freezes Randomly
Hello there,
My laptop freezes randomly and even the mouse doesn't work. I am not running any high-end software or games, just using the laptop to browse the internet and watch videos on VLC player. Now even during shutting down my laptop, it freezes at the Shutting Down window. Sometimes it displays errors like "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info and then we'll restart for you. Stop code: DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE. or sometimes "VIDEO DXGKRNL FATAL ERROR"

I noticed this happened after connecting my laptop to a monitor, and not before. Also happened the longer I was using the laptop that day....which led me to the conclusion....it seems to happen after waking up the monitor or the laptop from sleep mode.
My current workaround - Change "Turn off Display" & "Put the Computer to Sleep" to "Never" in Power Options > Edit Plan Settings.
3 days with no freezing, whereas it was freezing at least once a day before. Make sure to manually turn off your pc if you go for a longer break.

Hello,
You really need to learn how to post a question to the forum. Your question is very vague you have not told anyone what computer you have and the specs.
Do you really expect to get a good resolution to your post or just guess and make assumptions.
