Vostro 1400, 8gb ram
Hello, dear friends. Laptop Vostro 1400, BIOS a09, t8300 processor Is it possible to make it work with 8 GB of RAM (Crucial SODIMM 8 GB (4 + 4) DDR2-800, 8192 MB PC2-6400)?

No, 4 GB is the maximum RAM compatible for that system. Also that is an old system (going on 10 years) and it would seem that putting any money into a system that old would be better spent on a new much faster system. Another consideration is that if you are using that system to access the Internet and using an old OS such as XP, it is extremely risky. Having no security updates, the system is extremely susceptible to virus and malware infections.
