Unfortunately for a 6 year old computer, parts are not easily found. I was unable to locate an OEM battery for your system either from my usual sources.
Please use caution when purchasing batteries from an unknown or 3rd party source. There are several Chinese batteries out there that have allegedly caused fires.
If the battery is an original equipment replacement, with the same watt hours, etc. then it should be okay.

I have the same problem. is the battery Type DHT0W P.N. 312-1324compatible? It is original dell battery available on your homepage.

Dell doesn't have it. This is the best that i find so far
