Alienware 17-R2, Windows 10, Lost earphone audio?
I have an alienware 17 r2
Alienware 17 R2 (Early 2015)
Service Tag:<ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>
| Express Service Code: <ADMIN NOTE: Express service code removed per privacy policy>
The system upgraded to windows 10 on 30 July 2015
The earphone jacks dont work now.
Need help, thanks.

Another Alienware 17-R2 user simply reinstalled the Windows 7/8.1 Dell Creative Malcolm chip+Recon3Di AP driver and it fixed his audio issue. Give it a shot and post back with the results.

Chris, Wrong driver, that's for Windows 7/8 and is months old. Creative has already posted on their web site that the Recon3D series will not get driver until sometime mid/late August. So we have to wait for now.

Agreed, it is the previous operating system driver, but it did fix their issues on Windows 10.
