Apple Mac Converting to Dell

Hello all, I am an apple mac user but now changing over to Dell & Windows 10. So I am looking for some advice on shifting over.

My old apple mac laptop still works fine, but not with the internet as it can no longer be updated being 10 years old..

So I will be using both systems until the old mac stops working.

I am looking to buy a basic laptop for portablitiy  and an all in one for my home office.

So over to you all.. what can I expect? Or fear!!!
