Cannot create system backup after latest Dell Backup&Recovery update
Hi,
after updating DB&R to version 1.928 I cannot create a system backup anymore. Every time I choose my external Toshiba harddrive I get an error message saying that the selected recovery media cannot be used with this device. Data backups and the Factory Recovery Media backup worked fine. After the software upgrade, I have deleted old backups and formatted the usb hard drive but I'm sure that cannot have anything to do with it? I remember having had the same problem after the last update but I do not recall how I solved it. Can anybody help? Thanks.

I like to suggest you use File History on the computer to create a system image backup. You can also create a recovery drive/disk as well.Please click on the link below:

No, I use both DB&R Premium and File history to create system image backups.
