Dell Backup and Recovery Premium shows error while trying to create First Windows 10 System Backup
I have Dell Backup and Recovery Premium. While trying to create First Windows 10 System backup in response to the message displayed by Dell Backup and Recovery Application, the Application shows error in the first step (checking System) and closes down. Windows also display the message that Dell Backup and Recovery has encountered a problem and will close. Looking for a solution. My laptop is Inspiron 14R.

Dell BR software seems to have a lot of issues with Windows 10. My system backup worked but it took about three times longer than with Windows 7. Continuous Data Protection does not work at all on my E6540 machine. Hopefully the next Dell update will take care of the problems.

Thanks for updating. It is disappointing that Dell themselves have not informed about this to existing users.

I phoned Dell Solutions Station and they informed me that Dell Backup and Recovery Premium does not work with Windows 10 upgrade. They stated there would be a new product in the future that would work. No timeframe Dell will email me when available.
