E6440 black screen even at boot [solved]

Hello,

After upgrading to Windows 10 my laptop started to experience issues. I'm usually working with only my external display enabled(docking station), but today, when I wanted to use my laptop without my docking station I only saw black screen without cursor or backlight.

When my laptop is booting I cant even see Dell logo or POST in bios or GRUB screen(I've got two OS installed - Windows 10 + Arch linux, same situation on both). When I connect my laptop to TV through a HDMI cable I can see everything on my TV but not on laptop - even though 'duplicate screen' is selected.

I've tried to run diagnosticts - power on + d and screen turned on and stared to display colors - seems it's working fine.

Thanks for any suggestion.

Just got back home so I have access to my docking station + external monitor.

Tried to run PSA diagnostics - using only laptop without external monitor gave me code: 3-2-1 and screen was black without backlight during the test. Whatever I try I always get black screen on my laptop... Only Power+d shows that screen is working.

PSA test was successful when run on my external monitor.

The issue required a Dell Tech. vistit - problem was with LCD cable(probably partially damaged so it partially worked ).

Issue is now solved.
