Disconnect Charger : Shutdown by pressing an holding power button and keep holding for 30 seconds.

Now Reboot to BIOS (F2) and RESET to default

Fan should be back to normal

SOLVED for me at least, and I tried everything.   SOLVED! noticed upon bootup a red MANUFACTURING icon plus "Manufacturing mode: to return to normal mode press Alt F at bootup". Remote laptop was not successful; but entring Alt F on the laptop's keyboard immediately stopped the constant fan.

hope this helps. I don't know how this came about.

The key combination Ctrl+B+Windows+Shift is used to wake up a computer from a blank or black screen. It does this by sending a signal to the graphics card to turn on the display. However, it can also have the side effect of causing the fan to run for no reason.

There are a few things you can try to fix this problem:

  1. Check your power settings: Make sure that your computer is not set to sleep after a short period of inactivity. You can do this by going to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options.
  2. Disable the wake-on-keyboard feature: This feature allows your computer to wake up from sleep mode when you press a key on the keyboard. You can disable this feature by going to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options > Advanced and unchecking the Enable wake-on-keyboard checkbox.
  3. Update your graphics drivers: Outdated or corrupt graphics drivers can cause a number of problems, including the fan running for no reason. You can update your graphics drivers by going to the website of your graphics card manufacturer and downloading the latest drivers.

If you've tried all of the above and you're still having the problem, you may need to reset your computer to factory settings. This will erase all of your personal files, so make sure you have a backup before you do this.

Here are some additional troubleshooting tips that you may find helpful:

  • Try a different keyboard: If you have another keyboard available, try using that to see if the problem goes away.
  • Try disabling the fan: If you're comfortable opening your computer, you can try disabling the fan. This will help you to determine if the fan is the cause of the problem.
  • Run a diagnostic tool: There are a number of diagnostic tools that you can run to check for hardware problems. These tools can help you to identify if the fan is the cause of the problem.

I hope this helps!
