How to create Hard disk partition in Windows 10
Hi
I have just bought Dell laptop with Windows 10. However, it only has 1 partition (C:). How to create more partitions. Can you please guide.

You should be aware that windows 10 does not need additional partitions as previous versions of windows used a few years ago. It is much better for regular users to use the whole drive and buy an external drive for file storage and backups.

There are many ways to create new partitions on hard drive. With Windows built-in disk management, you can create partition on unallocated space easily. If there is no unallocated space on your hard disk, try some third-party software to do that, this guide may help. It contains the two basic solutions.

Have you made a Win 10 recovery drive for that system? If not, do it now since it may no longer work after you change the partition configuration,
