How to migrate files and folders between Dell Windows 10 machines?
My 7 y.o. Dell 560 MT has been playing up, so I've just bought a new computer from the UK Outlet.
Had I bought new, a facility wold have been offered to transfer easily from one to the other, but I saw none on the outlet site.
Please.how would you suggest I effect the transfer?

Microsoft has eliminated Easy Transfer in favor of a third-party for-pay utility.
Yes, applications can be moved as well, but it's extra cost.

There is no "Easy Transfer" utility in Windows 10, but there are plenty of other ways to do the job. Probably best is to copy the files to an external hard drive or flash drive -- the one you use for backup -- and plug that drive into the new system, and copy them back.
