PC does not show on network

After windows 10 update to 1903 my XPS 8500 will not show on my private  network unless I do a network reset . After network reset everything is fine until I restart or shut off PC then it will not show again until I perform another network reset . I can see other PC's on network and have access but my own desktop will not show up . I have all settings correct on network discovery and function discovery in services Any one have any suggestions ?

Thanks

Home Group and Peer to peer networking are removed from the latest versions of windows 10.  1803 is done 1809 is done 1903 is the current version.

After you update your PC to Windows 10 (Version 1803, 1809, 1903):

  • HomeGroup won’t appear in File Explorer.
  • HomeGroup won’t appear in Control Panel, which means that you can’t create, join, or leave a homegroup.
  • HomeGroup won’t appear on the Troubleshoot screen when you go to Settings  > Update & Security  > Troubleshoot .
  • You won’t be able to share new files and printers using HomeGroup.
