SupportAssistant and Chipset ... help please!

Hi there.  I hope someone out there can help me with this.  I have had the same problem since I bought the computer over 6 months ago.  I try to install a chipset update using supportassistant and after reboot it still says it needs to be installed.  I have attached a detailed screen shot to help.  Thanks.  Oh and I have had about three blue-screen-of-death incidents in the last six weeks.
