Volume bar Indicator change

Chrome Volume Icon.png

How do I stop this entire bar from appearing when I change my volume. All I want is the left most bar. Everything on the right seems to have been recently added in an update and I would like to know if there is a way to disable it.

It is quite large and very annoying.

CHROME.EXE is not windows and therefore not supported by Microsoft or DELL.

Starting in Google Chrome 75, you can enable or disable the Hardware Media Key Handling flag for using media keys on your keyboard to control the active media session.

Open Google Chrome.

Copy and paste the link below into the address bar of Chrome, and press Enter.

 chrome://flags/#hardware-media-key-handling

Select Disabled in the Hardware Media Key Handling flag drop down menu.

Click/tap on the RELAUNCH NOW button at the bottom to apply.
