display stretched out after installing windows 10 update
Display on my Dell IN1930/IN2030M monitor has changed, stretched out horizontally and fonts are random size. Photos are distorted. I have 6 year old Inspiron desktop. Have tried everything to get the display back. I installed latest Windows 10 update a few days ago. Help! Diagnostics says I have correct driver.

BEVERLY FUTRELL,
Please provide the computer model when posting an issue. When you installed Windows 10 did you install the video card drivers? Click the link below to choose your computer model and choose Windows 10 as the OS to download the drivers.

I don't want to interfere with Beverly's ticket but I do have the exact same issue (and a few more) since an automatic Windows 10 update on November 25th on my Dell Inspiron, and the solution may well be the same. When I tell Windows to update the drivers it tells me the best drivers for monitor and graphics card (ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series, driver version 22.19.128.0) are already installed, yet everything is stretched horizontally now and there are no other resolution choices which would solve the problem. Perhaps this oddity I saw can help pinpoint the problem: On the "General" properties tab it says no driver is installed, yet when I move to the driver tab the driver version and date is stated. How can we go back to the previous drivers or install the driver that work with this and hopefully future Windows "updates"? Thanks a lot!
