To activate Windows, you need a digital license or a product key. If you're ready to activate, select Open Activation in Settings. Click Change product key to enter a Windows product key. If Windows was previously activated on your device, your copy of Windows 10 or Windows 11 should be activated automatically.

Because you change the SSD, so you have new pc and lose the Windows 10 license.
If you use Windows 10 retail key, you can reactivate Windows 10 after a hardware change: https://appsforpcfree.net/reactivate-windows-10-hardware-change/
If you use Windows 10 OEM key, you can't reuse it.

could it be that your laptop actually came with win 10 enterprise and you are trying to activate a copy of win 10 home or pro?
