Yikes! Based on the thread you indicated, this is a MASSIVE and widespread problem that has been ongoing for a number of years. I rebuilt Windows 11 from a clean ISO (Nice to have access to MSDN) and will not add any of the Dell support.
It may be some time before Dell software is brought to full compatibility with Windows 11. But then again all the other manufacturers are having similar problems as well. I am guessing that by the middle of 2022 a lot of the problems will be corrected. I have a home built desktop and find the odd quirk and compatibility issues with Windows 11 as well.

Have a look at this forum post. This problem is not new with Windows 11 and has been experienced by a number of users as the post shows.
