You have to disable acceleration in the Intel Smart Response Technology application from Windows 7 and then start the Windows 8 clean installation. The hard drive would be detected during the installation after disabling acceleration. Please follow the steps provided below to configure the acceleration in Windows 7:
Please install Windows 8 after disabling the acceleration and let me know if you need further assistance.
Make sure not to remove windows 7 and do not format the drive before starting the windows 8 installation. If you have made a disk for win 8, boot to the disk and follow the directions to do a clean install. The windows 8 installation is an upgrade--disk or download-- and will not install if windows 7 is not on the drive when you begin installing win 8.You can still do a clean install by selecting Keep nothing on the installation page.
sorry i have forgot : the disk is formated... and i have a cd from windows 8 to install clean... but i dont find the driver to load in the installation menu ....
now i can set the SATA mode in BIOS to non raid... ( like ahac or some one like named) and i see the drive but its not so quick because the mSATA is not cached...
at this time i start the installation and it is fine ... because the drive is not showing .... the option is to install driver -> but which is the correct one....
Thank you for your reply and for providing an update on the status. I am glad to know that the issue has been resolved. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Clean installation refers to installing Windows by booting from the Windows DVD/USB. If you do not have any important data on your drives, you may delete the drives and install Windows.
Note : This leads to complete data loss, ensure that you have backed up the data before proceeding further.
Hope this helps. Please reply if you have any further questions.

When you will clean install on DELL XPS One 27 you MUST have the INTEL RAPIDSTORAGE driver unpacked on memoryStick.
Use Windows 8 Disk and start with F12 Commandbutton the installation (Boot menu)!
Following the installation and use manuallinstallation option!
Now you see a clear list of Harddrives -> thats Fail but i have the solution!!!!
You can see on left side the Button "Load Driver" ! Push it!!!!
Now you can Load your memoryStick with the unpacked intel rapidstorage driver (x64)!
The installation routine find now a driver for the XPS -> Install it
After install the driver -> all Harddrives are showing in the list.
Best Regards
