It will likely work, I got an Inspiron 6400 and a Latitude D820 to both run Windows 8 and the XPS M1330 is about the same age but slightly better.
You are best to try out the enterprise 90 day trial and see how it works before committing to buying a license. See Windows Reinstallation Guide/Upgrading to Windows 8 for instructions:

If you don't like Windows 8 or it doesn't work so well then you can always revert back to Windows 7 and haven't wasted cash on a license.
