Dell's online PC Diagnostics (by PC-Doctor) Get No Further Than Gathering Tests
I've been trying to run the online PC Diagnostics (by PC-Doctor), the Quick and Full tests, on a Vostro 3560 running Windows 7 Pro. The program gets as far as 'Gathering Your Tests' and stays there.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Joe

FllFl,
It may run for an hour or so. Did you get any results?

None. It's still gathering.
Were you able to see my screen shot? There's line above where it says Gathering your tests... with a warning symbol on it. Could this mean anything?

Sadly I am no help but I want to reiterate the same issue. Alienware 17, it has been on the Gathering Your Tests steps for a long time. I would understand running the tests to take a while but not the gathering. I have the same exclamation point with yellow rectangle to the right and no text indicating what the warning might be.

VERY SAME EXACT problem here! Can someone please help (except that I'm on an Inspiron N5010.
The previous person didn't say this, but there is no error message next to the red triangle with an exclamation point in it. It's blank where you'd probably expect some kind of text to be.
Anyone?
Thanks,
//Gary

I am also having the same problem, when run the online diagnostics from dell, till checking for support assist, it goes ok, but on step 4 ' Gathering your tests', a red triangle with white exclamation mark appear, so not able to resolve my audio problem.
Also, if you can help in resolviing my audio problem, it will be great. I have Dell M4800 with NVIDIA graphics card. My volume icon in task bar is showing a white 'X' sign inside a red square and when cursor is placed on the volume icon, it shows message, "No speakers or headphones are plugged in". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the realtek drivers downloaded from dell driver support website for M4800 with windows 10. But problem is persisting unresolved. Rarely, the sound comes back from laptop speaker, but when computer sleeps or restarted it again disappears. During this period, when sound comes back, the headphones are not working. I think, it is a driver problem, but could not resolve it. I checked online and found that people are suffering from this problem a lot and Dell have not been able to help with it. After buying a 3,000 Euro computer and lack of service, makes me feel cheated.

Me too. Vostro 3360. Can anyone help us? Another post suggested updating Diagnostics driver from Dell support for your machine, but mine doesn't have anything listed.
