I have a restore DVD of Windows 8 and another with drivers and Dell apps. supplied upon request with my laptop. .The following site http://devxstudes.org/del/dell+window+8+iso.html has .iso of Win 8.. I did try doing a restore using a friends retail copy of 8.1 but there were activation problems.
Interestingly enough the Brower Choice played up and when I visited STORE and Win 8.1 upgrade was available again which ran OK and activated by phone code as normal. For all intents and purposes I now have an almost completely working OS, Catalyst Centre fails, some drivers need updating and my Fax Modem cannot send due to some problem 30 seconds plus after dialout.
Further to my last, I have had a closer look at the site mentioned and find it is full of extraneous downloads and junk, to me, so anyone looking needs to notice the addons with any download. If I had looked properly I would not have mentioned them

http://devxstudes etc. will take you to another site for download and the download itself includes many additional items. You would need to try it to see what is include. I would not want the additions myself and as usual they are not all prominently displayed
I notice the link on this site (Dell) does not work but my auto copy mailing from the comment does. I found they show a Win 8.1 for Dell download which I looked at and I decide not to continue with. I could not find the Dell version anyway.
