I received a free game code with the purchase of a laptop, but i returned the laptop. Do i get to keep the code since it was a free gift?

Hi,
If it was associated with the account number or the email address, it may not work after a while.
The free gift was for purchasing the laptop, however if it wasn't returned, you may keep it.

what if i did return it? Can i still keep it? it's still in my locker.
