New dell laptop asking windows keys activation

Hello there

I bought a dell laptop with pre-installed genuine windows 8.1 from singapore on 22 June 2015.

now it is giving me a message saying that i have to activate windows otherwise it will expire on 4th november 2015.

however when I do so....there is no activation

i contacted singapore and they gave to scan using command prompt using sfc/scannow

it says there is no violation.

and then they directed me to Bangladesh dealer as am using the laptop in dhaka.

could u please help me......it says my windows will expire on 4th november

Hi,

Thank you for writing to us!

We would need the service tag to the system.

You could also complete the activation over the phone by calling Microsoft.
