0X000000D1 error on startup!

Window XP home edition with SP2 installed.
Dell Dimension 8100
Pentium 4 1.4 Ghz
BIOS is the latest available from Dell
McAfee Virus scan

This is basically what happens, went to reboot the computer a few days ago, gets to the windows xp splash screen and then flashes a blue screen (quickly so I don't even have time to read it), and goes back to reboot again and repeats the same over and over. Safe mode works just fine. After seeing the screen time after time and reading the technical info at the bottom little by little I put together the code of
*** Stop: 0X000000D1 (0X0000001, 0X0000002, OX0000000, ...) and then the 4th I haven't been able to get to yet.

AFter a ton of tries at rebooting, a miracle will happen and it'll make it past the splash screen and boot like normal with no crash. This is probably 1 in 25 reboots.
And besides this crash problem the computer behaves perfectly!

This kind of came out of no where...no major changes or anything before this started happening.

What I've done so far:
I've disconnected all the ram and reseated it.

I've used memory test already and let it run for a few hours with it finding ZERO errors in the ram.

Also ran disk check and that found zero errors.

Rewrote the boot sector to make sure it was not corrupt.

So I'm thinking it's a problem with a driver somewhere? All the hardware memory itself seems to be fine.

Please help me out!!! Thanks in advance

You stated it works fine in Save Mode? Have your tried system restore back to a known good condition? Youi can do this in safe mode since you know it works OK.

Just a suggestion. It appears you have all kinds of conflicts with sharing IRQs.

Then read this article to see if it helps.

Yes it does work fine in safe mode. I've also tried system restores up to 2 weeks back and at that time it did not have this problem. So that kind of stumped me also. In other words I don't think this is related to the registry at all.

And I've never really messed with IRQ's and sharing. How do I fix this problem? Thanks for the link and it gives me some insight on what exactly this means, but do you think this is my problem and if so how do I fix it?
