Adobe Flash Player for 64 bit system

How can you install Adobe player on a Vista 64 bit system. My computer guru installed Flash Player for me and it worked for a while. Then it stopped working. And I can't get it to install. Thanks Ed.

There is no 64 bit version yet but the 32 bit should install ok. Just go to the site and if it will not install directly download and install it from outside of your browser.

Thanks for your response. I don't have a clue as to how to install it outside of the browser. I guess you would have to be able to save the install file onto your hardrive and then install from there. There doesn't seem to be a save option from the Adobe website. Can you buy Flash Player retail? Thanks Ed

Yes you are correct you download and install when the browser is not running. FireFox needs this way to install.

Found this link which might be of some help

Ed,

I found this link hopefully should get you the version of 64-bit flsah player. I went through this discussion with another forum member and they found there aree 2 versions of Internet Explorer on their computers. Go to start, all programs and look for Internet Explorer that does not say 64-bit on it. This will run Internet Explorer in the 32-bit mode.
