Before you bit the bullet and re-install windows, ( Which I have done with my 4400 system so manytimes now, I cannot guess the number )  please back up all those music files Now....After so long without a system reformat and re-installation, our systems will acquire a great deal of garbage and the registry may be messed up over time from installing and un-installing programs.  This maybe one of the problems that you are experiencing now, not positive.  That video card is fair, but you may wish at some point to get another.  I got the new Nvidia 6600GT card ( AGP version ) and it worked like a charm.  Hope you have DSL and not dial up for those games you play.

You can use Dell's online tech support.  It worked for me instead of using the phone support...They are somewhat slow in figuring out things, and you will have you do many checks on the system before they either give up, ask you to re-install windows or send out a part that failed.  Give it a try....Also, do a systems Diagnostic's to see if everything is still working well.   Wish I could help more, and hope other's may come onto this thread to assist...Good luck

https://support.dell.com/support/supportrequests/create.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&request=true&s=dhs  This is the E-mail support  that you wanted.  I'm not too happy with the canned responses they give, but you may wish to give it a try...

I was able to fix it...and it was as simple as i thought both my slow performance and my task manager, i was able to aquire the task mananger file that WAS missing from my System32 folder. amd there WERE rogue programs running on my computer that i was able to detect and destroy with my task manager as a guide. Thank you all for reading and posting your concerns.
