Application Exception Error in explorer.exe (pid:448)

I've got a Dimension 8200 with Windows 2000 installed on it, about 2 years old.

I've been trying to access some folders in the My Pictures folder, and when I open some of the folders, I get an error saying explorer.exe has crashed.  I go and check Dr Watson, and this error appears:

Application exception occurred:
        App: explorer.exe (pid=448)

        Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)

The thing is, it only happens with some of the picture folders, not all of them.  If I go to my Canon Camera Zoombrowser EX and try to access the pictures, it works with no problems.  Does anyone have any ideas?
