Right click the *.exe file, select Properties. In the Compatibility tab, choose to run the program in XP compatibility mode and as an administrator.

1.  Are you sure you even need the BIOS update

2.  Windows 7 may not be compatiable with the windows version of the BIOS update program.  That is the update program, bot the update itself. 

3.  You may have to do the update as a Non-Windows update, instructions are on the Dell Web Site

Same system, Windows 7 home premium, same problem here. If the issue is with sbwinflash, how do we update that program?
