jomav23,

You will need to provide more information on this error.  First, right-click on "My Computer" and select Properties from the drop-down menu.  Click on the Advanced tab, then under Start up and Recovery, click on Settings.  Remove the check mark in front of "Automatically restart" and OK your way out.  The next time you get the error, instead of shutting down the computer, you should get a more complete error message.  Post the full and exact text of that error message in a reply to this message, and we may be able to help troubleshoot the problem.

The blue screen error appeared again.  Here is what it says:

_________________________________

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.  If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or softwar maufactured for any windows updates you might need.

Technical information:

***STOP:  0x000000D1 (0xFF75DB80, 0x0000002 x 0x00000000, 0xFF75DB80)

It seems like it is saying that it is a software problem, but the last thing I installed was at least a month before this error began showing up.  I will appreciate any help anyone can give me!  Thanks
