Under the favorites bar in the Internet Explorer, I expect that is what you are using, there should be a tab for history, just delete the folders from there and that should delete the browsing history, then it is possible that you could use the normal function to see if it will work after you do this, if that doesn't work go to www.download.com and find CCleaner or Easycleaner by Toniarts, and that does get rid of Internet history, as well as Mozilla history and other items that are unuseful files, that just take up space on the hard drive.

download and install CCleaner

 

and save your self some headache ;)
