CD-ROM WON'T LET ME RUN SETUP

Question

Whenever i insert a cd into my cd-rom it won't let me use the setup.exe files.  I can open up the drive and see everything, but when I click on setup nothing happens.  Autoplay does not even work.  I have run the windows autoplay repair, but that didn't do anything.  I really need to be able to install new programs onto my computer but I can't.  Can someone PLEASE help me!

I do not have any norton programs, and there is only one user on this program that has administrator rights.  It doesn't work.

Does the system has a Norton Programs in the system .. try installing the programs with administartor rights.

hey try check the system for any viruses it can be a problem with window tooo ?
