CHECKPOINT [????] at booting up?

Hi,

Does anyone know the meanings of these CHECKPOINT issues stated during the boot up of the pc on WinMe?

[TICK]  [Vmgr]  [HDsk]  [Aux]  [Time]  [Krst]  [CCck]  [Size]

I have hard drive issues and its a bugger booting up sometimes.  Im buying a new drive soon so wont be so bad hopefully.

If theres a link of listed meanings and what i can do it would help greatly
