CMOS Checksum Bad error
Hi,
I hope it's alright for me to ask this question. I have an old Gateway G6-400 using windows 98. When I start up, I get CMOS Checksum Bad. I normally select the option that restores original configuration (or something like that). The clock normally stays correct, but the date changes to Jan 1960. I replaced the battery (CR 2032) yesterday, but it is still happening. Can someone suggest something.
Thank you
dphe
