Can't remove yahoo msg and Window Installer problem.
I can not remove the yahoo msg login screen. Everytime I log in it comes up. When I try to remove the program I get the erro msg : Install .log fle could not be found.?
Also everytime I log on the Window install comes up and wants to install Photo Gallery and wants a disk. I do not have that either . What do I do? Thanaks

the reason why you probbaly cannot remove yahoo messenger is because the install file has been deleted somehow. what you can do however is to go to "search" and click.. all files and folders, and type in yahoo messenger. if that does not solve the problem, log onto yahoo messenger if at all possible, go to the top of the buddy list, and click on messenger. then click on "preferences." On the left hand side of the box that comes up, click on "general." Then at the top on the right, uncheck "automatically start Yahoo! Messenger." At the bottom, click "apply" and then "ok." After that, go to you start menu, click "start" and click on "run." Type in "msconfig" DO NOT use the quotations, just type in the letters. At the top, there are tabs, click on "startup." Find Yahoo messenger, uncheck it, and then press "Apply" and then "ok." After you press "ok," a box will show up that says something about restarting windows, you click whatever option you want, it is just so that the changes take effect. That is the solution for problem number one. for the second problem, just uninstall the program if you dont want it. I am not sure why it keeps popping up.
