Can't save embedded picture

Windows XP Pro  Pentium D 2.66ghz   200gb h.d.   1 gb ram    When I receive an embedded picture in a received email, and I right-click on the picture and select "save as", I get the following:    "The system cannot find the file specified."  I have unchecked "block images....."  and "do not allow....." in the options section of Outlook Express 6, which I am using.   What am I doing wrong?

Thanks, mombodog, but when I right click on the image and select "copy", nothing happens, the window disappears, and the image was not copied.

Thanks, Bay Wolf.   That worked, but how did you ever figure out that it would?

I have had that happen to me.  I just forwarded the email back to my email address and for some reason I am able to save the graphic.

Do a right click on the image and select copy, then paste it into microsoft paint and do a file save as, and you can choose the format in the drop down box.

Whats up with OE?  nice little service pack bug.

That will not work if you are saving a gif file.  You will loose the animation.

You are so welcome.  I'm glad that I could help out.
I'm around computers daily as part of my job.  You'd be surprised what you may come across.

Did you paste in to Microsoft Paint?

I can't paste it into anything, because as I stated earlier,  when I right-click on the image and click on copy, the window disappears, so I am unable to copy it.
