Cannot open folders
Hello:
I have a Dimension 4600 with Windows XP. I recently installed Norton Antivirus and also downloaded Microsoft Antispyware program. I don't know if there is any connection, but I am unable open any folders. I can open files but not folders. I am also unable to open things like Control Panel or My Computer. The hourglass icon will come on and then disappear after sometime. Thanks in anticipation.

Do you now have more than one "firewall"? If so, this may be causing your problem.

Also cannot open some of my folders anymore....screen just closes down and goes to desktop.
How do I check to see if there is more than one firewall?
