Cannot view certain websites

Question

This may have already been mentioned in previous topics, but I feel I should not bring them back. When I try to access a certain website (http://www.gecko-games.com) a message saying 'Page cannot be displayed' is there instead. I have 2 computers, and the other one lets me go on it fine. The problem? That computer is frequently in use and it is horrifically slow. May be a corrupted HOSTS file. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\ect and locate the file 'HOSTS'. It has no extensions. Rename it to HOSTS.OLD and reboot. Windows will recreate a clean copy.

it didn't work...... the file did not recreate itself, as you had said after rebooting....
