Changing .pdf files

Can Adobe files (.pdf) be changed? what is required to do so?

.pdf files are Adobe proprietar files.  There are some programs around that will create pdf files and some that will import them.   I've never seen a program that will 'convert' them to some other format.  Do a google search and you may come up with something that will import them and allow you to save them as something else.

oops! I guess I didn't state my question clearly. I mean, how do you change the text or pictures of a file that is in .pdf format? I'm not needing to change to a different format.

Most likely you will need to buy the Adobe program to do that.  Again, it's their proprietary format.

Google 'PDF Editors'. There are several programs that will allow you to edit pdf files. Some are almost as expensive as Adobe Acrobat! Dave
