Character Map
I just reformatted successfully. Thank you to all those who helped. Where is the Character map or what cd is it on?

Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map. If it's not there, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Windows Setup > System Tools, click on Details and put a checkmark next to Character Map, then be prepared to insert the Windows ME CD ROM.
