Compressor/decompressor

On trying to load music into a video, I got the following message ' the selected file cannot be played because the system does not have the required compressor/decompressor installed ' can some one point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
I am using Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 and Adobe Premiere 3 to make the slide show.
The music is saved in Windows Media Player.

what file format (extension) is the audio file?

All I can suggest is to search the Adobe support site on this issue, see if there are any plug ins for wma.
